As the baby boomer generation continues to age, the popularity of aesthetic procedures that aim to turn back the clock continues to skyrocket. Brown spots, broken capillaries and other fallout from photoaging are easy targets for laser systems and IPL Machines that use broadband light to repair these defects. Additionally, facial wrinkles can now be treated non-ablatively, contributing to a more youthful appearance. Using relatively low-energy, short-pulse broadband light, imperfections such as erythema of rosacea, superficial telangiectasia, dyschromia, age spots and other discolored signs of photoaging can be gently heated and eliminated, replaced by newer, younger looking skin. In fact, laser skin treatments and IPL Machine treatments for wrinkles and other signs of aging can be done during a lunch hour.
Technology in use
There are a number of technologies including the Spectrum Lumiere IPL Machine, Spectrum Giovane IPL Machine and Alma Rejuve IPL machine that provide effective treatments for skin rejuvenation, pigmentation, vascular and acne.
Spectrum IPL Technology
When the London School of Beauty first saw Spectrum IPL equipment they described it as “revolutionary”. Spectrum employs the latest technology and is packed with intelligent features and comes standard with a sophisticated software interface allowing you to program treatments in ‘simple’ mode or ‘professional’ mode. This offers you the flexibility of choosing from preset settings or customising your own treatment parameters, all with a touch of a button. As an added feature the software can be easily upgraded via a USB interface ensuring you’re never left behind.
Spectrum IPL have a unique filtering system which allows one handpiece to be used for all of the following treatments as shown below.
Alma Rejuve IPL Technology
Alma Rejuve utilises Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) which is considered the next generation of intense pulsed light (IPL). It takes formerly unused short-wavelength light and converts it into part of the usable spectrum through a special filtering system. It increases emission and penetration for safer and more effective treatments. AFT also delivers Equally Distributed Fluence, which means that every pulse has uniform energy density across the entire output face.
The Alma Rejuve can be used for the following treatments:
